Canton Christian College was moved back to Canton in 1904. Log cabins were built in Honglok Village as temporary school buildings. There were only a few such cabins with primitive facilities at the beginning. The bucolic and picturesque campus later on was the result of the concerted efforts of early Lingnanians.
