胡少翰 Hu Shaohan

生平 Biography

胡少翰 (活躍於19至20世紀),活躍於19至20世紀,廣東番禺人。胡氏少時留學日本,後來加入同盟會。1908年他與高劍父 (1879-1951)、潘達微 (1881-1929)、何輯民 (19至20世紀) 等人於廣州設立「守真閣裱畫店」,實為方便傳遞革命消息。胡氏擅長書畫、詩詞,尤其喜愛畫梅。1936年他與黃祝渠 (1877-1945)、陳樹人 (1884-1948)、李供林 (1898-1979) 等人結成「清遊詩社」,亦曾於廣州愛育善堂工作。

Hu Shaohan (active in the 19th and 20th century), a native of Panyu, Guangdong province, was active in the 19th and 20th centuries. He studied in Japan in his youth, and later joined the United League (Tongmenghui). In 1908, he opened the Shouzhenge paintings mounting shop with Gao Jianfu (1879-1951), Pan Dawei (1881-1929) and He Jimin (19th to 20th century). The shop was a front for transmitting news of the revolution. He was skilled in calligraphy, painting and poetry, and was especially interested in painting plum blossoms. In 1936, he founded the Qingyou Poetry Society with Huang Zhuqu (1877-1945), Chen Shuren (1884-1948) and Li Gonglin (1898-1979). He once worked at Aiyutang, a charity organization in Guangzhou.
